When I was in the 2nd grade we made back to school folders for our parents and all the kids made nice pictures on theirs where as I made an executioner caterpillar standing next to a guillotine and his victim ladybug. I was most certainly the weird kid in class.
My son has now followed in my footsteps. His class wrote a book about who they wanted to be president. All the other students chose a parent, teacher, or sibling. Not my boy!!!! He chose our cat Mischief. They even had to add a cat to the front cover.
I am one proud mom right now!!!!!!!!!!!
